I was proofreading more sociology today. I stopped to read a few paragraphs when I got bored. I swear to god I did not make this up:
THE CASE OF "DUDE"
"Dude" is used to indicate a "cool solidarity," an effortless interaction with other men. The many uses of dude include:
a greeting -- What's up, dude?
an exclamation -- Dude!
to one-up someone -- That's lame, dude.

I'm so sick of freaking expensive books and the fact they keep coming out with new editions that have like a word changed every year. I have been using the site cheapesttextbooks.com which has really helped me. I found them in money magazine last year and they give really good deals on a bunch of book sites. I just can't wait until everyone uses sites like this one so the college book companies stop making so much money of us poor college students.
Hey, anonymous, how could you even read a textbook? You could probably read a sociology textbook, I'll grant you that much, but any other textbook? No fucking way.
