I'm bored at work. It will be a long time before I get to go home. Even though the Neil Young biography I'm reading is really good, time is still moving slowly. Someone, please regale me with tales of hilarity and/or woe in comment form under this post.

Hi mary here. Here is my 'this job is sucking the life from me story': Though I think i may have a tinsy fever, i am sticking it out because i only have like an hour and 15 left. BUT hopefully this thing will ride through the night because, frankly, I would rather be sick with something than be at work. And that aint no joke. You know, I am never sick. I deserve it. Plus I know Nick would like to spend his day off watching sucky teen movies while i recover. Down with work! Up with sickness.
Also you may be thinking 'why don't you just call in to work sick even if you are not?' and I would respond 'well, why don't I?. . . '
I would like to state for the record, Nick would actually not enjoy watching teen movies with me. I believe this will be the wedge that drives us apart.
Instead of being bored at work, I'm being semi-bored at home -- believe it or not, Mary P., I too stuck it through the day at work yesterday with a teeny fever and scratchy throat, and then stayed home today with a sore throat and nasty cough. I spent most of the day waiting for a package, sitting on the couch and looking at the ceiling and reading my book. This is not a very exciting or hilarious story. The moral is, both of us would be happier if you were here saying "poooor kristy" and making me smoothies and chicken soup instead of being bored at work.
by "you" I of course mean Josh and not Mary P., although if she wants to drive down here and make me a smoothie, that would be cool.
*cough cough*
