I'm in, officially. I'm going back to school in late August. I may be teaching your children someday. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

I hold truly good English teachers in the highest esteem, and it makes me happy that you want to join their ranks. Now stay the hell away from my kids.
I feel that your triple-Lindy will be an elaborate sandwich that you devour in front of your seniormost class. Upon your retirement, the event will become a revered Homecoming Week ritual.
I keep meaning to post this on here: Congratulations! I was trying to think of something clever or witty or whatever, but my mind is a blank. I've been grading student work since the weekend. I do have to say that my really good high school English teacher completely changed my life (um, for the better, I think ...). Just be forewarned: some freak of a kid like me may say the same about you someday!
(This is a totally unrelated question: does anyone know why there is a tiny wheelchair to the right of the word verification box when you make a comment on blogger? I clicked it, and it appeared to do nothing.)
I think the little wheelchair is to click if you are handicapped in some way that you can't see/read the letters to type them in. When I clicked it my firefox said I needed a plugin to run whatever it was doing, which I'm guessing is some kind of sound file?

I hope that you get stuck on the Sex-Ed beat. That would be very funny all around.
