Geography report (local version)

Aside from a few friends' homes and a couple of restaurants, South Austin's reputation is wildly undeserved. In fact, someone should drop a nuke on it. The economic damage to the city would be a burden, yes, but a burden worth the detonation of so many douchebag hipsters, confessional acoustic folk singer/songwriters, aging hippies, and guys who think it's a good idea to go into a place of business barefoot and with their dog.

AGREED! Give me Hyde Park or the Manor Road area, hell give me the Arboretum over South Austin. I'm sorry, but urban blight populated by dudes with white guy afros does not a happening scene make.

Omigod, have you ever seen William Cannon? The William Cannon HEB is what I think of when it comes to south of the river, not Polvo's or Curra's.

I hate it when some dude walks into my establishment dogfoot with his bear.

I hate it when someone walks up to a bear with dog carcasses stapled to his feet.

My dear Air Wolf, I was referring to a section of Austin, not the entire woman. The rest of her is as whore-besmirched as ever, a girl gone wild, even. This is the "true" Austin, though the denizens of the southern region have staked the claim that their zip code is the only portion of ill repute extant.
